Our Story

Amarinder Bhinder (Founder of ab cricket coaching), also known as coach AB is a passionate, dedicated and vastly experienced cricket coach. He is a Cricket South Africa Level-3 coach, and he is the former Head Coach of Cricket Canada. Amarinder played first-class cricket for Punjab (India). He moved to South Africa in 2004 to begin his coaching career. He started his coaching at Wits University, in Johannesburg. In Johannesburg, proved his aptitude for coaching by being one of the very few coaches to pass the demanding CSA level-3 coaching qualification on the first attempt.
In 2018 AB moved to Canada. Here he had the opportunity to be the Coach of the Canada Development Program (CCDP). AB was then appointed as the Head Coach of Cricket Canada in 2019. Currently, Amarinder is grooming the skills of domestic cricketers to take them to the next level.

AB has worked with many world-class cricketers who have done amazingly well all over the world. One of the most noted is none other than the white-ball captain of South Africa’s national team-Temba Bavuma.

Mission & Vision of AB Cricket Coaching

Mission & vision of ab cricket coaching is to turning purpose into prosperity. Each player is unique. They each have different personalities and they come from unique backgrounds. This needs to be considered when dealing with a team.

As we all know, cricket is an individual sport within a team sport which makes man-management an essential aspect of creating a successful team. There is much greater scope for individuality within cricket compared to any other team sport. Each player within a team must be treated equally and as an individual. In this regard, Amarinder’s work ethic, knowledge, expertise, and professionalism are all in place to create the environment for a successful team.

Amarinder, in his playing days, was an experienced bowler and he loves the mechanics of bowling. To add to AB’s excellent knowledge of bowling mechanics, he can also coach and refine batting techniques to combat the art and craft of bowlers. Amarinder regards fielding as a critical part of the game, and the development there of is integral to his coaching. At AB cricket coaching we make players accept their responsibility in sports.
